HFBC KIDS

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 – “Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children.Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”

The desire of HFBC Kids is to see children come to know Christ and to train them to follow Him for a lifetime. Teaching children in a safe, loving, and age appropriate environment as we lay a strong biblical foundation for each child’s spiritual growth.

WEEKLY EVENTS

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS (K – 5th Grade)

A fun environment where kids play, sing, learn scripture, and hear Bible stories that encourage them to know Jesus and grow in a relationship with Him. Check in happens starting at 5:45 pm in the Family Life Center. Kids are checked out in the sanctuary at 7:30 pm.

SUNDAY LIFE GROUPS (1st – 5th Grade)

Each Sunday, kids have age appropriate small groups with teachers who love God and desire to disciple the children in God’s Word. Life Groups for all ages are from 9:30 – 10:45 each Sunday morning. Elementary & Intermediate kids will be checked in and checked out in the Warehouse.

WAREHOUSE WORSHIP (1st – 3rd Grade)

On Sundays, during Worship, elementary students are invited to sing and worship with the congregation. During the sermon time, they are dismissed to have a time of worship that is geared just for them with Bible stories, singing, and games in the Warehouse.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Vacation Bible School

Each June, HFBC hosts a Vacation Bible School for children ages Kindergarten – 4th Grade. Kids participate in an action-packed week with Bible study, music, missions, craft and recreation. We also have a fun Family Night where we all get together for food, fun, and fellowship!

SUMMER CAMP

Our 3rd-5th Graders enjoy attending camp each summer. This 3 to 5-day camp allows for kids to get away, enjoy some fun, and learn about God and worship with kids from other churches in our area.

SUMMER FUN

During the summer, the kids of HFBC and their families get together once a month. This is a time for families to get together: enjoy games and food, and fellowship with one another.

FALL FESTIVAL

HFBC Fall Festival is a community wide event that provides a safe and fun environment for the families of Huntington.
