Nursery Worker

We are looking to hire another paid nursery worker to help care for children (Babies through Preschool) during church activities. We offer nursery during these regular times plus some other events on occasion.

  • Sunday Morning Life Group & Worship: 9:15 AM – 12:15 PM
  • Tuesday Night Bible Study: 5:45 PM – 7:30 PM
  • Wednesday Night K-12th Activities: 5:45 PM – 7:30 PM
  • Friday Night Most Excellent Way: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

*You will not work all events, but will be able to choose events based on your availability and the Nursery needs.

Duties:

  • To provide loving care equally for all children.
  • Make sure children are kept clean and fed as necessary.
  • Under no circumstances is the worker to do anything other than provide full time care for the children.
  • The nursery worker is not to allow any visitors into the nursery.
  • The nursery worker is expected to be at work 15 minutes before services start. If no children are brought to her she will be paid for 1 hours time.
  • Workers are expected to straighten the room and clean up when services are over.
  • Nursery workers are expected to use appropriate language, mannerisms, and dress in the nursery.
  • Nursery workers shall NEVER leave the nursery room unattended.

Pay:

The Personnel Committee will set your hourly pay based on experience and will communicate that to you if you are offered the job! The starting rate in the Nursery is $10 per hour.

The Personnel Committee will review applications. You will be notified of any interviews that they want to conduct.
